Job Summary: The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned nursing area(s) in order to facilitate and deliver comprehensive quality nursing care and to manage the environment in which care is given. Overview Carries out patient care responsibilities with emphasis on decision-making related to the steps in the nursing process to include assessment, diagnosis, and identification of expected outcomes, planning, implementation and evaluation.
