Manages throughput on the nursing unit and make changes to assignments as needed. Reports to the nursing unit manager any problems in regards to performance, safety, staffing, behavior, etc. Assists with conflict resolution in the absence of the nursing manager in collaboration with the house supervisor. Role models positive behaviors with staff including integrity, fairness and consistency. Agent for change for the department. Assigned and assist as super user for completion of incident report. Minimum Education/Experience Required: Current licensure in the State of Ohio or if working in WV will need a WV license as a Registered Nurse. BLS required upon hire. ACLS within 1 year of employment required. Special Knowledge, Skills, Training: Verbal, clerical, numerical, and manual dexterity, color vision and near visual acuity, proper lifting techniques and body mechanics.
