Receive patients in the recovery room and assist in transferring patient from the procedure room to the recovery room as needed. Create a warm, comforting environment in the recovery room. You'll be responsible for ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care while supporting CNAs, fellow nurses, and interdisciplinary team members throughout your shift. Responsibilities Lead and supervise nursing staff during your assigned shift. Deliver exceptional resident-centered care. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies. Complete nursing assessments and documentation accurately and timely. Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families. Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized care plans. Coach, mentor, and support CNAs and nursing staff. Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations. Help maintain excellent clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction. Participate in shift reports, clinical meetings, and quality improvement initiatives. Assist in reducing overtime through effective staffing and communication. Promote a positive, respectful, team-oriented work environment. Qualifications Current Missouri RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in good standing. Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain). Previous experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, Geriatrics, Subacute Care, or Post-Acute Care preferred. Previous Charge Nurse, Floor Nurse, Unit Manager, or Nursing Supervisor experience is a plus. Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills. Passion for providing compassionate care to older adults.
