Light Housekeeping Caregivers may be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and safe client environment by completing: Laundry and linen changes Tidying the client’s immediate living space Washing dishes Cleaning meal-preparation areas Vacuuming or sweeping Removing trash Cleaning frequently touched surfaces Organizing care supplies Maintaining clear walking and emergency-access areas Physical Requirements Caring for a bedbound client can be physically demanding.
