Caregiver Summary: The Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a Care Manager to provide personal care and support services that meet each client’s individual needs. The Caregiver is assigned to clients in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of care, and delivers services in alignment with HomeWell’s mission and standards of care. The Caregiver does not perform tasks that constitute the practice of nursing, including administering medications or physician-ordered procedures. Communication Requirements: Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, at a level necessary to safely and successfully perform the essential functions of the position. This includes the ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, communicate with clients, family members, supervisors, and other members of the care team, and accurately complete required documentation and records.
