Staff Nurse, Critical Care Services, Float Pool - Per Diem

Responsibilities The primary purpose of the Staff Nurse position is to be accountable for the care activities, safety and goal achievements of assigned patients through assessing, diagnosing, planning and intervening in actual or potential health problems and evaluating patient’s response to the care. These responsibilities also include patient education and discharge planning. Overview The House Nurse Coordinator is accountable for the management of nursing services on a given shift under the guidance of the Director of Nursing Services in order to provide safe, effective and efficient nursing care. Responsibilities Manage nursing services on the assigned shift in an efficient manner by planning, organizing and controlling all activities of the department(s). Implement, interpret and enforce work standards and procedures on the assigned shift that are in compliance with hospital policies, governmental regulations and various regulatory agency requirements. Clinical Nurse Manager

Overview The Clinical Nurse Manger (CNM) is a direct supervisory leadership role and a key member of the Nursing leadership team. Registered Nurse

Overview The Staff Nurse is accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients. The Staff Nurse provides clinical supervision to LPNs, Nursing Aides, and Nursing Service Clerks where applicable. Overview Responsible for the delivery of patient care by applying skills and techniques common to the practice of practical nursing. The Licensed Practical Nurse functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs tasks related to patient care. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an School of Practical Nursing Experience: Previous LPN experience preferred Licenses/Certificates: License to practice as a LPN in the State of Alabama. Current BLS Certification required
