Job Description Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Medical Director, guided by the policies and procedures of the Ambulatory Care Centers, and in collaboration with the physicians and other clinical staff in UCSF’s Cardiology Clinics, the Clinical Nurse 2 is responsible for providing safe, efficient nursing care to patients in the UCSF Stanyan outpatient Multispecialty practice. Triage patients and responds appropriately according to protocol and nursing assessment. This support can include education, training, consultation, auditing, onboarding assistance, clinical care, and other duties to help promote the profession of nursing and the elevation of clinical practice. Job Description Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care.
