RN Supervisor (Per Diem) Responsibilities Include: Supervise all nursing care in the facility Assess residents as needed Document in residents medical record as needed Admit/readmit residents Ensure that a safe environment is maintained Assist unit nurses as needed Interact with facility physicians as needed Any other tasks as assigned by the DNS RN Supervisor (Per Diem) Qualifications/Requirements: Current NYS RN (Registered Nurse) license. Experience preferred. Working knowledge of EMR and proficient in documentation. Current CPR certification. Must be a compassionate and reliable team player. Description The Assistant Nurse Manager is a Registered Professional Nurse with broad knowledge and skills who acts as clinical leader in the daily functioning of the unit and oversight of quality patient care delivery, in conjunction with, or in the absence of, the Clinical Nurse Manager. Responsibilities Roles & Responsibilities: Assistant Nurse Manager / RN - Emergency Department - Full Time at Mount Sinai Brooklyn Assists the Nurse Manager and Director in assigning patient care activities for 75FTEs. Evening and Night hours with some flexibility. Reviews clinical performance of nursing personnel via anecdotal records, conferences and evaluation process. Participates in the Department of Nursing’s and the Hospital Center’s Quality Improvement Program Serves as a resource person for the nursing staff within the unit or other units. Serves as a preceptor role model in the clinical setting for staff and affiliating students. Participates in the selection of staff members who may serve as preceptors. Assists in the planning and monitoring of the unit budget in conjunction with the Director, Nursing.
