40 hrs / Weekly Full -Time Variable Shifts On-Site Summary: The Medical Assistant role provides clinical and administrative support for patients under the direction of a Provider and/or licensed Nurse. Responsibilities: Prepares patients for examination; takes and records vital signs; performs phlebotomy as needed; administers medications as directed by the Providers according to policy and procedure Collects data that contributes to the assessment and evaluation of individualized care and needs of assigned patients, including discharge plans, under the direction of the Licensed Nurse Collects, processes, and submits laboratory specimens in accordance with policy and procedure Communicates patient findings and pertinent information to the Provider and/or Licensed Nurse utilizing appropriate communication/documentation processes Accurate and timely documentation of care within EPIC system Performs point-of-service activities such as appointment scheduling, visit preparation, co-payment collection and patient tracking as needed Performs clinical duties that are department specific such as POCT, hearing and vision screenings, and any other procedures Performs routine task and general office duties such as faxing, copying, filing, etc. as needed Cleans, stocks, and prepares examination rooms Develops and maintains positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues Follows safety policies and procedures in the delivery of care to assure a safe environment for patients, families, and other staff members Other duties assigned Other information: Technical Expertise Experience in phlebotomy is preferred. Staff Nurse: Outpatient Pulmonary

Part Time (24 hours per week) Days Mon-Fri Days, Primarily 8:00am to 4:30pm no weekends/holidays Onsite for Outpatient Pulmonary Will cover one day a week in Warren Summary: The Staff Nurse provides nursing care requiring specialized knowledge judgment and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social and nursing sciences. Responsibilities: 1. Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and directs nursing care with a focus on family centered care for individuals or groups of patients within the assigned scope of practice. 2. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age and developmental status is required. 3. Performs leadership and professional duties. 4. Performs patient-centered care duties. 5. Performs quality improvement and safety duties. 6. Participates in the development education for staff members for clinically related issues. May be responsible for precepting new employees and act as a mentor to the clinical staff. 7. Education and Experience 1. Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required or must be obtained within 5 years from date of hire. 2. Current certification in Basic Life Support training from the American Heart Association is required. Additional certifications may be required based on the assigned department or unit. PALS and ACLS required within 1 year of hire. 3. A valid, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio is required. This must be a Multistate License (MSL). An MSL is required within 90 days of hire date for departments that provide telenursing services or care to patients outside Ohio. 4.
