Department/Unit: Pediatric Emergency Department Work Shift: Night (United States of America) Salary Range: $88,192.00 - $136,697.60 The Clinical Nurse assesses, coordinates, plans, directs, implements and manages the needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care with a focus on progress toward discharge, including during transitions within the acute care stay. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for the delivery and coordination of patient care provided by the caregiving team. Qualifications: • Graduate of a professional academic nursing program in which a Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred • Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse license • Obtains and maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification. • Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care • Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational and time-management skills • Possesses knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques and demonstrates ability to apply in support of departmental and patient care quality improvement. Department/Unit: Operating Room Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $116,823.00 - $186,917.00 The Nurse Manager position in the operating room at AMCH Main Campus has responsibility over a very fast paced procedural area. The leadership position is in charge of a level one trauma operating room suite with 35 rooms of multiple service lines. The candidate must have a NYS license and a BSN. Five years of perioperative experience as a nurse preferred. We care for over 80 patients a day in a patient focused environment working very closely with Surgeons, Providers, Residents, Fellows, Nursing Students and Medical Students. • Provides proactive administrative and staff support in a patient centered environment. • Promotes center strategies that provides excellence in patient care. • Coordinates the flow of communication to maintain optimal unit/department operations. • Advocates for patients, families, and staff. • Supports lifelong learning , by using the organization’s established empowerment process. • Promotes fiscally responsible financial planning which is linked to Center goals. • Acts as a mentor and consultant to staff by incorporating the organization’s mission, vision, • and values to enhance patient satisfaction by anticipating and exceeding patients’ needs.
