JOB DESCRIPTION " POSITION SUMMARY The Registered Nurse is a member of the interdisciplinary team working in collaboration with the Physician. The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing care process consistent with their license and/or certification including initiation of culturally competent continuum of care including inpatient, outpatient and community settings. The Cardiac Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible to oversee any necessary coordination of the interdisciplinary surgical plan of care and provides for its consistency with the surgical treatment plan. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/LICENSE: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey or current multi state license required. BLS required. Valid NJ Driver's License is required for all employees in the Adult and Child Partial Programs. EXPERIENCE: Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire. JOB DESCRIPTION " POSITION SUMMARY The Cardiac nurse navigator provides a personalized level of support to help patients, families, and caregivers navigate the system of care, at all levels of care, and assists them in maximizing their care. The Cardiac nurse navigator performs screenings for atrial fibrillation or structural heart disease, reviews and escalates incidental findings, and acts to strengthen the cardiology program. She/he will be responsible for harnessing artificial intelligence to aid in surveillance and referral of patients in to the cardiac service line.
