Overview: Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join an established Neurosurgery practice at Piedmont Athens Hospital. This position is full-time, 5 days a week, including rotations with established APP's for weeknight and weekend call. This is a hybrid role serving as a First Assist in the OR, hospital rounding, and seeing patients in the clinic. Responsibilities: First Assist with hospital rounding, consults, and patient discharges Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations and record data in patient's medical record in ambulatory practice. Clinical responsibilities require thorough attention to detail. Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care. Write progress notes; prepare patient work-ups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings. Develop plans of care that minimize complications and successfully troubleshoot problems when they arise.
