A Brief Overview The Nurse Assistant is in training to become a Certified Nurse Assistant. What you will do In training to become Nurse Assistant certified and/or Medication Aide certified. Provides assistance to residents with their activities of daily living. Assists with restocking supplies and maintaining appropriate work environment in unit including cleaning procedures. Participates in providing emotional, educational and spiritual support for families. Complies with all aspects of resident rights including confidentiality and privacy. Report all allegations of resident abuse or misappropriation of resident property. Understands and follows established policy and procedures related to fire, tornado, evacuation, disaster plan, universal precautions, infection control procedures, hazardous and chemical communication program.
