UPMC is hiring a full-time, flex OP Nurse Coordinator to support the UPMC Shadyside Centre Avenue Cancer Pavilion. This position serves as a key clinical resource for patients and the multidisciplinary care team, providing triage for incoming telephone calls and MyUPMC messages, coordinating patient care needs, and offering clinical support to team members. Responsibilities include ongoing review of surgeons' schedules to ensure accurate diagnoses, appropriate scheduling, and required medical records are obtained, as well as monitoring inpatient follow-up, discharge care, and post-hospital visits.
