The Citadel at Kingsbridge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is currently seeking Full-Time CNA's for day (7am-3pm) evening (3pm-11pm) and night (11pm-7am) shifts to join our dynamic organization. OVERVIEW: CNA is responsible for providing direct resident care including clinical, personal, nutritional and restorative care. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Help patients use the restroom · Clean and bathe patients or residents · Maintain patients' hygiene and change bedding · Turn, reposition, and move patients between wheelchairs, seats, and beds · Serve meals and help patients eat their food · Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature · Listen to patient’s health concerns and report details to a RN or Doctor REQUIREMENTS: · Valid CNA License in the State of New York · CPR/BLS certified · Minimum 1 year nursing experience in a Long term care Facility. Job Overview At Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, the Nursing Supervisor represents hospital administration and, as such, serves as the delegated agent of the hospital administrative team invested with the authority of the same on the assigned shift. Responsible for coordinating, evaluating quality and clinical practice activities throughout the medical center in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act, JCAHO and NJDOH licensing standards. Prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC is strongly preferred.
