Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice for a professional nurse. The RN is expected to perform all staff nurse activities and function as charge nurse when assigned. The RN maintains overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients, even though some activities/tasks may be delegated to Technical Nurses, Patient Care Associates, and/or Sitters. Assignments are performed appropriately to age and developmental level of patients being served. All team members will be expected to work all areas of their unit. 3N RNs will be required to work MB, NBN, and attend deliveries. The LD RN will be required to work LD, WAC, LD PACU, and the LD OR. Position Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Float) provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable laws and organizational policies. The LPN supports the delivery of compassionate, high-quality care in hospice and palliative care settings, performing assigned clinical tasks and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for patients and caregivers. Essential Functions Assist in implementing and modifying patient care plans in collaboration with the RN and interdisciplinary team. Administer IV therapy as permitted by licensure and training. Follow general safety and infection control procedures. Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice for a professional nurse.
