In this role you will partner with the rest of the clinical team to provide patients the highest quality of care. UChicago Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Ambulatory Float Pool team, supporting multiple outpatient clinics in Hyde Park and surrounding locations. This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care across a variety of specialties, including Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology, Primary Care, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, and more. The Medical Assistant will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), Advanced Practice Nurse (APN), or Physician, assisting with a range of clinical and administrative tasks such as administering vaccines, conducting EKGs, recording vital signs, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with the healthcare team to enhance patient care.
