The Nurse Manager, Pediatric Infusion Center provides operational and clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary infusion program serving pediatric patients Hematology Disorders, Oncology Disorders, Immunodeficiency Disorders, Rheumatology Disorders, Endocrine Disorders, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Genetic Disorders, Neurological Disorders, Liver and Renal Disorders Nephrology Disorders, Cardiology Disorders and Orthopedic Disorders. This position ensures the sterile field is properly maintained, all instruments are prepared and accounted for, and that the surgical team is supported in achieving safe and efficient case flow. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical field for all vascular and interventional procedures. Anticipate surgeon needs and provide appropriate instruments and supplies throughout the case. Assist with the setup and breakdown of procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and properly functioning. Handle surgical instruments and devices in accordance with aseptic technique. Monitor and maintain the integrity of sterile supplies and report any issues immediately. Assist in transferring patients to and from the procedure table as directed. Support intraoperative imaging procedures, including manipulation of C-arm, guidewires, and catheters under physician supervision. Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps before, during, and after each case. Assist with stocking, inventory control, and reprocessing of surgical instruments and equipment. Uphold all infection control, OSHA, and facility safety protocols. Collaborate with nursing and physician teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and workflow efficiency. Qualifications Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification (recommended but not required). Minimum 2 years of scrub experience , preferably in vascular, interventional radiology, cath lab, or related procedural settings. Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation for endovascular procedures. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary surgical environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
