Overview Under the direction of the director/charge person, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care specific to Cardiac Catherization Lab patients. Responsible for environment of care according to Joint Commission Standards. Responsible for the nursing care of the pre and post Cardiac Catherization Lab patient. Qualifications Education Associate’s Degree Licensure/Certification/Registration Florida Registered Nurse License BLS ACLS Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required · Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. 
Overview The Charge Nurse, under the direction the Unit Director/Manager is responsible for scheduling employees and coordinating patient flow and room turnover, overseeing supply and equipment management, coordinating training and orientation of new personnel, assisting in staff development, monitoring the departmental environment to ensure safe patient care and to evaluate and discipline employees and/or make effective recommendations regarding the same. Qualifications Education BSN Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration Florida Registered Nurse License BLS ACLS PALS Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required Leadership skills, Should attend hospital training programs including: Leadership Institute courses, Specialty certification preferred. 2-5 years prior experience in a perioperative hospital setting required. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
