CNA Responsibilities Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care needs, if applicable. Provide nursing care in accordance with resident care policies and procedures while ensuring resident safety and well-being. Act appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and function as an active member of the interdisciplinary team. Assist residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, grooming, and other activities of daily living in accordance with the established Care Plan. Ensure residents are out of bed according to their individualized Care Plan. Interact with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a supportive, respectful, and professional manner. Perform additional duties as assigned to support resident care. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and have successfully completed a state-approved training program and examination.
