Description: The Clinical Partner (CP) provides basic technical nursing skills (deemed competent) and delegated tasks (i.e. wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, discontinuing a Foley catheter) under the direction and/or supervision of the registered nurse in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida Statues and BHSF policy. The CP is a valued member of the nursing team who works in close collaboration with the assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient centered care. Examples of nursing activities that cannot be delegated to unlicensed assistive personnel include: assessment and evaluation of the impact of interventions on care provided to the patient. PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) at ParkCreek Surgery Center The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.
