For Registered Nursing student graduating in December 2026 or with less than 1 year acute care hospital experience. Nurse Residency Program will begin January 25th, 2027. BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Under the supervision of an individual licensed to practice professional nursing, the graduate nurse will manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. REPORTS TO Nurse Manager JOB REQUIREMENTS Supervisory Responsibilities: No Minimum Education: Associates required, Bachelors Preferred Degree: Degree in Nursing License/Certification Required: Must provide proof of graduation from an approved school of nursing within the previous 90 days, and must provide proof of first authorization to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX); may practice for a period not to exceed 120 consecutive calendar days from receipt of authorization to take NCLEX and must practice at all times under the supervision of an individual licensed to practice professional nursing. Minimum Work Experience: Pediatric nursing experience preferred. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Excellent communication and customer service skills. Demonstrated clinical abilities.
