About this Job: General Summary of Position Delivers proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. Receives supervision from the Nurse Leader and functional supervision from the clinical coach/designee. May at times receive functional supervision from other registered nurses. About this Job: General Summary of Position Provides patient care for transplant patients following established standards and practices. Functions to advance the clinical mission and goals of the Georgetown Transplant Institute through collaborative relationships within the Medical Center. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy policies procedures and standards. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Handles intake calls from potential transplant candidates and/or referring physicians. Assess patients for placement on the transplant waiting list.
