Job Summary and Qualifications The Emergency Department Manager is responsible for the supervision, coordination and evaluation of nursing care provided in the Emergency Department. The Manager also coordinates and supervises the activities for the unit, which supports the safe and efficient delivery of care. The Manager assists the Admin Department Director in the implementation of Performance Improvement activities, hospital policies/procedures and in the financial management of the unit. Seasonal program lasts from September 20, 2026, to April 3, 2027 PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS All seasonal RRT’s are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period. Within a close geographical area, you may be asked to float to another facility which has an emergency staffing need. Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4-week schedule period. During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee). Job Summary and Qualifications As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patients medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology. What qualifications you will need: Education/Skills: Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred. BSN will be required within 3 years of employment. Professional Nursing Organization Membership strongly encouraged. Experience: Two years’ experience preferred.
