Nursing Jobs in Defiance, MO

Dear Valued Job Seeker, We’re going to skip the usual “caregiver job-posting language,” because YOU already know what caregiving is. Instead, I want to start by personally introducing myself: my name is Carly, and I am the owner of SYNERGY HomeCare of St. Charles. You already know that caregiving can mean a lot of things. Overnight, it can mean helping someone get safely to the bathroom at 2 a.m., repositioning them so they're comfortable, calming them if they wake up confused or scared, and SO much more. You also know those small things can make ALL the difference in the world to someone. YOU are the important person who makes it possible for someone to stay in their own home, and lets their family sleep at night. With so many home care companies out there, how do you choose the right one? Let us help you narrow it down. Ask yourself: What matters to YOU when it comes to the company you work for? Do you want… A company that understands you may have financial goals, and gives dependable caregivers the opportunity to work toward them? To be surrounded by caregivers who take their work seriously, instead of constantly picking up the pieces for people who don't? An office that actually knows who you are, understands your strengths, and pays attention to which clients and schedules fit you best? Your hard work, reliability, and performance to actually matter? THAT is the kind of culture we're building with our staff. But culture goes both ways. Are YOU willing to work hard, communicate, show up, and take your commitments seriously to be part of something more? Our Company Culture : We are NOT looking to collect as many employees as possible. We're looking for dependable caregivers we can actually build around. That means people who communicate, show up when they say they will, take ownership of their shifts, and understand that when a family hires home care, they are trusting us with THE LIVES of their loved ones. Because caregiving is such an important responsibility, I believe caregivers should be treated as members of our SYNERGY family. We're a locally owned home care company serving St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren Counties (we don't cross the river into STL). We are very intentional about who we hire and how we operate. Our Scheduling Philosophy : We understand that schedules are not ‘one-size-fits-all’. Some caregivers want steady overnights every week, some want just a few, and some want overnights that work around a day job or school. We have a wide variety of shift options, and we match caregivers based on availability, experience, personality, and what the client actually needs. Flexibility, however, is not the same thing as lack of accountability. Our clients are often older adults, people recovering from a hospital stay, people living with dementia, and families in high-acuity hospice situations. A call-off in home care is NOT like a call-off at a facility. It can mean a vulnerable person is suddenly left without any care. About this position ➤ You would serve clients in the Defiance area ☾ Overnight shifts (usually 7 p - 7 a, 8 p - 8 a, 9 p - 9 a), full-time or part-time ✚ Looking for experienced caregivers, CNAs, HHAs What overnight care means with us: It means you stay awake and alert the entire shift. Sleeping on shift is not allowed. It means you check on your client through the night and help with toileting, repositioning, and anything they need. It means you keep the home safe and are ready to act if there's a fall or emergency. In summary: we want YOU if you're an experienced caregiver or CNA looking for flexible work with a company that works very hard to treat good caregivers with the respect and dignity they deserve. If you want flexibility AND take your commitments seriously, dependable caregivers that work for us do not hurt for hours. We especially value caregivers who are observant, organized and comfortable in their capabilities. Apply here if my company sounds like the right fit for you because I would genuinely LOVE to hear from you! Sincerely, Carly Owner, SYNERGY HomeCare of St. Charles

Apply here if my company sounds like the right fit for you because I would genuinely LOVE to hear from you! Sincerely, Carly Owner, SYNERGY HomeCare of St. Charles
It can mean helping someone with taking a shower, making them their meals, doing their laundry and some light housekeeping, giving them an occasional ride to appointments, and SO much more. You also know those small things can make ALL the difference in the world to someone. YOU are the important person who makes it possible for someone to stay in their own home. Some caregivers want full schedules, and some want a few shifts a week. Some want evenings, weekends, mornings, longer shifts, or hours around another job or school. About this position ➤ You would serve clients in the St. Charles and St. Peters area ☀️ Daytime shifts (from short visits to 12-hour shifts), full-time or part-time ✚ Looking for experienced caregivers, CNAs, HHAs What daytime care means with us: Daytime care with us includes all the usual caregiving tasks you already know, but we take it to a whole different level with more documentation and more communication than you will find at many other companies. Charles
