About this Job: Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (ACNP or PA) Part-Time - MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital We are seeking a 0.5 Part-Time ACNP or PA at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital, located in Baltimore, MD. General Summary of Position Provides comprehensive or episodic evaluation of patients such as history and physicals as well as providing care to assigned patients. Assesses diagnoses documents findings. Writes medical orders and/or prescriptions. Makes clinical decisions relative to patient management through collaboration with physicians. May assist/perform surgical procedures. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies procedures quality standards and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations. Assists in providing care. Writes appropriate order sets including medications. Assists physician in emergent events by being familiar with appropriate locations of emergency equipment and following physician instructions to render appropriate clinical support to the physician. Collaborates with physicians and other clinical staff to ensure practice needs are met by taking call performing stress testing and/or triaging patient calls to maintain quality patient care.
