About this Job: General Summary of Position The Medical Assistant performs clinical and administrative duties in an ambulatory care setting under the supervision of a physician/provider and/or a registered nurse. About this Job: This is a home care community health role that meets dually diagnosed Medicare B patients in their homes and at provider offices based on their availability in Baltimore City/County and within a 50 mile radius. There are no evenings, weekends or holidays required for this role. The typical work schedule is Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. You will see on average 2-3 patients per day in the field but can also coordinate your schedule to fit a hybrid model. Key Responsibilities The primary responsibility of the RN Homecare Clinician- HEART Team is to provide professional nursing services to beneficiaries on the HEART Team. About this Job: Unit Highlights The Maternal Newborn Center provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period, including a Level II Special Care Nursery, where we provide care to our smallest patients. About this Job: We have a full-time Transfer Coordinator opportunity at our Transfer Center located in Lanham. The Transfer Coordinator provides services including: Emergency requests to transfers critical patients to MedStar Hospitals for conditions such as heart attacks, strokes, trauma and other time sensitive emergencies; non-emergency transfer requests to MedStar hospitals; dispatches helicopters and ground critical care ambulances; requests for ambulance and wheelchair transports for all MedStar hospitals; coordination of critical responses such as in-hospital Code Heart; coordination of regional hospitals information during disasters; critical radiology communications; and other critical communications for the MedStar Health system.
