Other duties may be assigned. • Greet patients promptly and provide clear communication about next steps and wait times • Offer solutions to patient concerns and seek help in emergent or hazardous situations • Ensure timely follow-up for lab and x-ray results; execute follow-up calls with urgency • Support front desk staff with check-in and check-out procedures when needed • Accurately document vital signs, histories, medications, allergies, and other pertinent details • Assist with patient transfers, procedures, and lab work under provider supervision • Prepare and shoot X-Rays, ensuring proper positioning, safety, radiation protection, and shielding • Complete all required visit documentation and maintain stocked, clean exam rooms • Adhere to infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality standards • Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other clinical procedures as trained and directed WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE? Full-time team members work a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. Our PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis. Maintains knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance, and use (i.e., IV pumps, monitoring equipment, and drainage devices) Utilizes safeguards such as IV pump drug library and monitor alarms with necessary. Initiates emergency support measures (i.e., cardiopulmonary resuscitation, protecting patient from injury). Assists with patient care duties/tasks (i.e., emptying drainage devices, ambulating, and hygiene). Job Requirements Required Education and Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in specialty area(s) (e.g., medical/surgical, telemetry, intensive care, emergency department, operating room, post-anesthesia recovery, pediatrics, maternal-child health) ADN or Nursing Diploma Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse from the state(s) in which he or she will be practicing and/or compact state license Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS.)
