Displays a calm, positive, and supportive demeanor in interaction with and around residents and caregivers which promotes cohesiveness and morale. Adapts well to changing needs and conditions including, but not limited to dementia, pain, and disability. Able to prioritize and multi-task in busy environment while respecting resident choice and preference. Strong attention to detail and non-verbal cues. Maintains accuracy and thoroughness in documentation of resident care information. Able to communicate in a clear and direct manner. Proactively engages in workplace improvements. Emergency Services, a Level II ACS-verified Trauma Center, is a high-energy, patient-centered environment consisting of 45 total patient exam rooms including ten Urgent Care rooms, five resuscitation/trauma/critical care rooms, and three dedicated Behavioral Health rooms that serve every patient population from infancy to the elderly. Patients have 24-hour access to laboratory, X-ray, and surgical services. We are also a Stroke Center with 24/7 neuro-interventional capabilities and a Chest Pain Center with 24/7 interventional cardiac catheterization lab capabilities. Emergency Services, a 2023 Emergency Nurses Association Lantern Award recipient, is recognized and acknowledged for excellence throughout the department through metrics and patient experience that is difficult to find anywhere else in the nation. What's Available: Part-time, 64 hours biweekly (0.8 FTE).
