Provide a variety of inpatient care and services, participation as required in scheduled daily rounds, perform initial history and physical, consultation and/or follow-up care, preparation of patients for transfer or discharge, under the supervision of individually assigned Physician as part of daily activities. Adheres to all quality-of-care measure and patient safety standards. Participates in scheduled night and weekend call. Qualifications Physician Assistant: Bachelors Degree in a related field is required. Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required. Conduct rounds as needed for IP General Surgery specialties. Overnight APP coverage for St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford, MA Qualifications Bachelors Degree in a related field is required. Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required. Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Knowledge and skill of orthopedic disorders and treatments is required.
