Position Overview United Health Services (UHS) is recruiting Family Nurse Practitioners (NP) or Physician Assistants (PA) to join an established, hospital-employed, Walk In clinic. This position will rotate to two locations (Endicott and Vestal) and work 12-hour shifts, seven (7) days every two (2) weeks. The incoming provider will work with a wide pathology and variety of patients. Experience in full spectrum medicine for all ages required (including Peds). Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, splints, etc). Previous experience in Walk In Clinic or Urgent Care setting preferred. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of elderly patients in nursing homes. Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's mental health needs. Provide medication management and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care. Offer counseling and psychotherapy services to patients and their families. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
