RN Supervisor needed- State-of-the-Art Nursing and Rehab Facility 3 - 11 Shift & Every other weekend Qualification: Current license as an RN in NYS Minimum of 6 Month to 1 year experience as an RN supervisor in long term care Demonstrated competence as a nursing practitioner Demonstrated leadership and human relations skills Responsibilities: Coordinates the planning, implementing and evaluating of resident care. Makes daily environmental rounds - identifying and correcting problems. Submits an "RNS Checklist " to ADNS for each unit every month. Makes a daily clinical rounds seeing every resident on report and every resident on precautions. Schedules comprehensive rounds with charge nurse to see and evaluate nursing care on every resident on a regular basis. Oversees that grooming and personal care needs are met on all residents. Duties Description Independently performs the duties below: Conducts nursing assessments; and obtains, records, and updates individuals’ health information and vital signs, using standard instruments and procedures.
