Position Summary: The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing care and staff on assigned shifts to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to residents. This leadership role involves clinical supervision, direct patient care, coordination with other departments, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The RN Supervisor supports and enforces policies, trains and mentors staff, and serves as a clinical resource within the facility. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Supervision: Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff to ensure resident care meets standards and follows care plans. Act as the nurse-in-charge during assigned shifts, resolving clinical and staffing issues as needed. Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, coaching, and support. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure nursing practices are in compliance with state and federal regulations, facility policies, and professional standards. Participate in audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain infection control and safety protocols throughout the facility. Monitor and report incidents or changes in resident conditions per facility policy. Acts as a resource for other personnel as appropriate. Qualifications Education and Work Experience Current and valid state RN License. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. PALS (AHA) certificate preferred. Previous Critical Care or PACU experience or minimum of one year on the job training.
