Neuro Stepdown- The environment will be fast-paced, collaborative, and at times unpredictable, reflecting the dynamic nature of our patients' conditions. We care for adult patients age 18 and older who are being treated for acute ischemic, hemorrhagic stroke, subdural, epidural hematoma, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizures, Guillain-Barre syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis exacerbation, meningitis and encephalitis, spinal cord injury, cerebrovascular intervention, and brain and spinal tumor resection. Our patients are unique because they have specialized neurological needs. Shift This is a full-time night shift position. The shift if 7:00pm - 7:00am, three times per week for a total of 36 hours per week, including some weekends. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum. Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis. Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
