The RN will review packets, accept and admit patients. This position requires a person to work with minimal supervision and will work with all facility units: business office, medical staff, medical records, utilization review, marketing, and nursing. The Vines' Admissions department is an exciting atmosphere where we help patients make decisions to seek help. In the Admissions department, we work together as a team. With 1 in 5 adults suffering from a mental illness, the PRN Admissions RN must be able to adapt and flow to the ever changing needs of our patients. The PRN Admissions RN will triage and assess people in crisis. Qualifications Education: Associate degree in Nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience in the mental health field preferred. Previous assessment experience required. License: Licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse required. Skills : Excellent communication skills. Ability to relate to those emotionally disturbed and in crisis.
