Position Summary: The primary function of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures. Education/Qualifications: Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work or licensed as an LPN if the state you operate in allows. Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care. Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software. CNA Position Overview A Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for many patient-care tasks to ensure that each resident receives the comprehensive and personalized care they need. They often have the following responsibilities: · Provide supportive services and performs duties as assigned by clinical leadership. · Assist residents with activities of daily living in accordance to care plans and established policies and procedures. · Assist with patient care tasks (lifting, turning, positioning, transporting, bathing, etc.) · Coordinate dining services including meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation of meal intake. · Report any changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse supervisor and keep them informed of factors that interfere with being able to perform work as assigned. · Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications. Belmont (Charlotte Metro Region), North Carolina Responsibilities We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced, per diem, certified neonatal nurse practitioner in a brand new, 10 bed LDRP Level-I Nursery, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Belmont which is scheduled to open late 2024. About the Practice This Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year An average daily census of about 5 newborns NNPs will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and will take call from home Practitioners would also stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia for newborns needing higher level care °The Belmont team will consist of 4 NNPs with the sister LEVEL III NICU staffed by 2 neonatologists and 5-6 NNPs who provide care at C aroMont Regional Medical Center- Gastonia , which is only 7 miles away °Opportunities to do supplemental PRN shifts at the level III NICU in Gastonia may be possible; but would not be required, as this position is for the Level 1 nursery.
