Manages Quality/Performance Improvement functions (10%) Implements and manages a continuous Wound Care Center (WCC)® Performance Improvement Program (PIP) and strives to meet Wound Care Center (WCC)® quality indicators.Ensures program is integrated into the partner hospital’s PIP program. Participates in hospital committees as appropriate and ensures timely and accurate documentation in the patient record and outcomes database. Overview We are seeking an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse , also referred to as an ICU RN, Intensive Care Nurse or Intensive Care Unit RN. The Intensive Care RN (ICU RN) will be responsible for providing intensive care to patients with life-threatening conditions. The ICU RN will have advanced skills in critical care settings, make quick decisions, and will be compassionate to all patients. An ICU RN monitors vital signs, blood oxygen levels, administer IV Fluids, and communicates effectively to the medical team to modify care plans accordingly. Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred. 7. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred. 8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: Provides safe, competent patient-centered care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The nursing assistant provides care under the direction of the registered nurse. Participates as an active member of the Nursing Team on the assigned unit/department. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer experience in an acute care setting. EDUCATION / LICENSURE: High School diploma, GED or Higher Education preferred.
