For this assignment, we are looking for a caregiver with strong experience in mobility support, safe transfers, wheelchair assistance, and Hoyer lift use. Experience working with clients recovering from a stroke or with similar physical limitations is strongly preferred. For this specific assignment, strong transfer skills are required. The caregiver must be confident assisting with stroke-related care needs and using a wheelchair transfers safely. You may also assist with homemaking tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, changing bed linens, and light bathroom cleaning.
