Responsibilities What You'll Do: We are hiring a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) who assess individuals and documents pertinent information including Triage, Behavioral Health, Physical Health, and/or Substance Abuse issues. Demonstrates knowledge of Crisis Intervention and the ability to de-escalate potentially aggressive situations and will provide education to consumers and their families regarding Behavioral Health diagnosis, medications, and treatments. Completes detailed Nursing Assessments with individuals and documents pertinent information including Triage, Medical/Behavioral Health assessments and medication administration utilizing appropriate assessment tools. Accurately record all medication brought in by individual on medication reconciliation/storage form. Plans individual treatment as part of the Multidisciplinary Clinical team. Provides education concerning Psychiatric diagnosis, treatment options, psychopharmacology, and overall health literacy to individuals, families and all others involved in the individual’s care. Intervenes with appropriate verbal interventions to diffuse out of control or potentially dangerous behaviors. Demonstrates ability to effectively use therapeutic option theory and techniques and can describe and demonstrate their roles and responsibilities. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Seclusion/Restraint standards, guidelines, techniques and initiate documentation and debriefing with individuals for any seclusion/restraint incidents as required. Accurately transcribes Provider orders and administers medications as prescribed. Attempts to have individual sign medication consent form. Performs chart checks and signs off as a second noted on medications prescribed. Draw labs and provide wound care as ordered by Providers when required. Complete nurse to nurse at discharge or when accepting individual from another facility. Performs all other duties as assigned. Qualifications What You'll Bring: Graduated from an accredited Nursing program Unrestricted active license as Registered Professional Nurse through State Board of Nursing or hold a multistate licensure privilege Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques American Heart Association BLS Working on ASAM 3.7, the RN shall have competencies and experience in conducting an alcohol or other drug focused nursing assessment The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. How you make a difference The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in patient care by contributing to the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Working under the supervision of RN(s), the LPN provides direction and guidance in patient education and activities that align with their education and demonstrated competencies. Key Responsibilities Under RN supervision, assesses patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in both the Health Care Unit and housing units, contributing to individualized treatment planning and consulting with RNs and staff as needed. Implements treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners, administering medications, including IV therapy (if certified), and performing diagnostic tests according to established protocols and procedures. Collaborates in controlled substance counts at the beginning of each shift, adhering to safety techniques, procedures, and standard precautions while responding to codes or health emergencies within standard guidelines. Assists in medical or minor surgical procedures, implements nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and documents nursing encounters using SOAP charting, ensuring effective communication with nursing staff, physicians, and other relevant personnel. Attends mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to policies and procedures in providing high-quality patient care. Qualifications & Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Experience Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience Licenses/Certifications Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
