Documents all patient care delivered according to established policies and procedures. Performs duties with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served on the assigned units. Maintains a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families in accordance with hospital standards. Communicate relevant patient information to a professional nurse within an appropriate time based on the level of urgency. Report problems immediately to a professional nurse. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of departmental and hospital policies related to the delivery of nursing care.
