How you’ll make an impact in this role Deliver professional nursing care in the operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures. Perform scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure. Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure. Directly assist operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure as well as patient positioning. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 0-3 years nursing experience, preferably at least one year in oncology. Level 2 (in addition to level 1 requirements): 3-5 years nursing experience including at least one year in oncology preferred. Level Sr (in addition to level 1 and 2 requirements): Five years nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology preferred.
