Job Summary and Responsibilities As our RN, you will assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care. Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data. Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome. Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including, but not limited to, IV’s, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections. Thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records. Document ongoing status, interventions, patient response and outcomes in an accurate, timely manner. Use information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision-making. Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect the health and safety and rights of each patient. Provide patient/family education through assessment of patient/family learning readiness, needs, and ability. Provide teaching and evaluate effectiveness of teaching. We are offering a $20,000 Sign on bonus in addition up to $10,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements. Schedule: 40hrs/ week-variable Shift starts and Day of week per volume and unit needs. TBD During interviews with Unit manager. Call Required. Scheduling details: Variable schedule (no self-scheduling). Call is in addition to regularly scheduled hours. We schedule cases Monday-Friday 0730-1930. Nights, weekends, and holidays are call shifts for urgent/emergent cases. We try to work with staff but will meet the needs of the department to cover ALL shifts and subject to change depending on department volume. The 0600 shifts float the most. Our staff will do either PACU or GI call depending on skill set. We offer 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts Monday – Friday depending on FTE: Shifts are… 0500-1530 (10hr) 0700-1730 (10hr) 0530-1600 (10hr) 0800-1830 (10hr) 0600-1430 (8hr) 0800-2030 (12hr) 0600-1630 (10hr) 0900-2130 (12hr) 0600-1830 (12hr) 1000-2030 (10hr) Call requirements: 2 RNs On-Call and call will change based on volume and staff. 1 weeknight (Sunday- Thursday)) from 1930-0730 (12Hrs) 2 holidays a year from 0700-0700 (24hrs) Currently every 6th Weekend: Saturday and Sunday 0700-1930 or Friday and Saturday 1900-0730 (12.5 hrs) We average about 6 call shifts on a 6-week schedule and try to schedule staff off the next day. Enliven is seeking an experienced RN (Registered Nurse) to service home infusion and Infusion Center patients in city name and surrounding locations. The ideal candidate must be well-trained and able to give the best nursing care possible with little supervision. They will educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits. The ideal candidate must be compassionate, cool-tempered, and capable of handling emergent situations. They must follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patients' well-being by providing high-quality nursing care. Responsibilities: RN (Registered Nurse) Complete daily electronic forms for each assigned patient within a secure Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System. Provide admission, case management, and follow-up skilled nursing visits for home infusion and infusion center patients. Administer ongoing care/infusions for each patient, and provide necessary follow-up as directed by the Physician and Clinical Manager. Confer with physicians and pharmacies to develop the initial treatment plan based on the physician's orders and the initial patient assessment. Provide hands-on care, management, and evaluation of the care plan and teaching of the patient under a physician based on ongoing assessments and as required by policy/regulation. Report patient care, conditions, and progress to the patient's physician, pharmacy, and Clinical Manager continuously. Implement patient care plan in conjunction with patient and family to assist them in achieving optimal resolution of needs/problems. Discharge patients after consultation with the physician and Clinical Manager, preparing and completing needed clinical documentation. Prepare appropriate medical documentation on all patients, including case conferences, patient contacts, medication order changes, re-certifications, progress updates, and care plan changes. Prepare visit/shift reports, update/summarize patient records, and confer with other healthcare disciplines to provide optimal patient care. Description UCHealth Greeley Hospital Emergency Department & Pediatric Observation Unit The UCHealth Greeley Hospital Emergency Department (GH ED) and Pediatric Observation Unit provide care for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced community hospital setting serving Northern Colorado. Our department cares for adult and pediatric patients across the acuity spectrum, from minor illnesses and injuries to critically ill patients requiring rapid stabilization, resuscitation, and transfer to higher levels of care when needed. In addition to emergency services, our nurses support a Pediatric Observation Unit that provides short-stay care for pediatric patients requiring ongoing monitoring, treatment, and evaluation. With our location right off I-25 we see all gestations and have the capability and resources to deliver, stabilize and transport. We also have 3 triage beds and 2 OR suites.
