Resident Monitoring: Monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition related to medication, notifying the healthcare team of any concerns or changes in their health status. Medication Storage & Handling: Ensure medications are stored safely and securely in compliance with state regulations and facility policies. Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care and outcomes for residents. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred State certification as a Medication Aide preferred, on-the-job training available. A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience. Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required. Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong interpersonal skills. Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred. Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
