Nurse to patient ratios for the General Medicine Unit are generally 5:1 for day and night shift. Telemetry patients are common along with a large population of renal and isolation patients. Our state-of-the-art Emergency Department at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) sees an average of 130 patients a day. It is a level 2 trauma center. We have 39 rooms with 20 designated as high acuity, 5 moderate/low acuity, 4 Psych flex rooms and 5 Triage rooms. RN to patient ratios are: 1:1 - 1:4 depending on acuity. Position Summary The Cardiac Center is a combined unit with 40 beds in our Heart Center and 12 in our Outpatient Observation Unit. Nurse to patient ratios are 4:1 - 6:1 for the Heart Center and 3:1 - 4:1 for the Outpatient Observation Unit. The staff on these units are very engaged in a Shared Governance model of leadership.
