We are is seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner Specializing in Women's Health Care to join our dedicated team at a thriving healthcare office. If you excel in providing compassionate, patient-centered care, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide general gynecology services to patients. Provide medical care according to established protocols and standards of care. Provide recommended age appropriate preventative care services that include history taking, examinations, counseling, screenings, testing and other preventative services. Obtain appropriate histories, clinical examinations, diagnostic tests, and make appropriate referrals for the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic disorders. Review laboratory test results, radiology reports and consultation reports in a timely manner and provide patient with information and treatment recommendations based on these reports. Requirements Master’s degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner license. Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of the practice. Eligible to provide reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid. Preferred Experience A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in outpatient care. Together, you will help our patients achieve the outlined goals and milestones based on their unique patient care plan. Receiving admissions and/or transfers. Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment. Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data, including labs and telemetry. Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately. Promoting continuous quality improvement. Instructing and counseling patients/families. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Valid State RN License is required BLS is required at hire Preferred Qualifications BSN or enrollment in a BSN program Clinical experience Additional Data Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process, to be completed before an employee's first day of work.
