Consultation/Collaboration: Consults with collaborating physician(s) on implementation, evaluation and revision of treatment plan. Coordinates care with interdisciplinary health care team in the development and implementation of the plan of care. Facilitates communication between the nursing staff and physicians with leadership skills and on-unit mentoring Collaborates with members of the education department and units’ leadership team in planning educational opportunities and competency evaluation for nursing staff members.
