We are looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) at The Paramount at Somers located at 189 Route 100, Somers, NY 10589 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities: Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit. Duties Include; Medication Administration, including IVs. Taking and recording vital signs. Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome. Provide resident and family education. Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals. RN Supervisor Responsibilities Include: Supervise all nursing care in the facility Assess residents as needed Document in residents medical record as needed Admit/readmit residents Ensure that a safe environment is maintained Assist unit nurses as needed Interact with facility physicians as needed Any other tasks as assigned by the DNS RN Supervisor Qualifications/Requirements: Current NYS RN (Registered Nurse) license. Experience preferred. Working knowledge of EMR and proficient in documentation. Current CPR certification. Must be a compassionate and reliable team player.
