The MDS Assessor is responsible for completing and coordinating the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process , ensuring accurate MDS 3.0 assessments, compliance with CMS regulations, and appropriate PDPM reimbursement . This role plays a critical part in supporting quality outcomes and care planning .
