Summary The Regional Director of Resident Services (RDRS), along with the Executive Director and Resident Services Director (RSD), is responsible for overseeing the implementation and coordination of Resident Care services at each of the Maplewood communities in the region. The Regional Director of Resident Services is responsible for evaluating standards of quality, service, training, expense control, and revenue generation within our communities. The role is one of support for the nursing and executive leadership within each community. With a focused portfolio of five Massachusetts communities — including one skilled nursing community — each fully staffed without reliance on agency staffing, and well-established clinical support at both the community and corporate levels, this role offers regional impact with a manageable, sustainable scope. Essential Functions Regulatory and Corporate Compliance: Ensure each community within the defined region is compliant with Maplewood policies, procedures, practices and programmatic standards, as well as with Massachusetts Executive Office of Aging & Independence (AGE) regulations related to resident care and clinical operations, and applicable federal/CMS requirements for the skilled nursing setting. Training: Ensure all Resident Services Directors (RSDs) are properly trained in their roles and are fulfilling their duties to properly train their staff, including Resident Nurse Directors (RNDs), Resident Services Assistants (RSAs), and Clinical Coordinators, on policies, standards, procedures, state regulations, care delivery, infection control, staffing, quality assurance, and related areas.
