As an LPN Med Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care by administering medications and treatments, monitoring resident health, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards. Document medications, treatments, and resident care accurately in the EMR. Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate findings to the nursing team. Perform nursing procedures including wound care, blood glucose monitoring, tube feedings, and other assigned treatments. Maintain medication carts and medication storage areas in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure accurate controlled substance counts and follow all medication safety protocols. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, CNAs, and other members of the healthcare team. Follow infection prevention, resident safety, and facility policies. Perform other nursing duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor or Director of Nursing.
