Completion of state-mandated training hours, if applicable. Basic knowledge of computer and internet-based applications for charting. Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills. Compassionate and professional demeanor, with safe working knowledge of client-based equipment. Must pass a criminal background check and provide evidence of health status that does not pose a risk to clients or other caregivers. How you make a difference The Certified Medication Technician is responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of a registered nurse. The technician documents medication administration and patient observations accurately while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality standards. They assist in training new staff, attend team meetings, and support overall clinical operations. Additional duties include equipment handling, supply management, and floating to various patient care areas as needed.
